This Privacy Policy describes how See My Ads, a service of Verbena Projects LLC, collects and uses information when you use this application. This policy supplements the Verbena Projects LLC Master Privacy Policy, which covers our network-wide practices.

1. Who We Are

See My Ads is operated by Verbena Projects LLC, a California-based company. See My Ads is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc., Facebook, or Instagram.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: your name and email address when you register.
Authentication data: bcrypt-hashed password, email verification tokens, password reset tokens.
Meta API credentials: your Meta App ID, App Secret, Access Token, and Ad Account ID, stored in our database to enable data syncing. These are never exposed in frontend code or shared with third parties.
Ad account data: campaign, ad set, ad, creative, and performance data synced from your Meta ad account via the Meta Marketing API. This data is stored locally in our database and is only visible to you.
Sync logs: timestamps and counts of data sync operations.

3. How We Use Your Information

To authenticate you and maintain your session.
To connect to the Meta Marketing API on your behalf and retrieve your ad account data.
To display your campaigns, ad sets, ads, creatives, and performance metrics in the dashboard.
To send transactional emails (email verification, password reset).

4. Meta API Data

See My Ads connects to the Meta Marketing API using credentials you provide. We request only the ads_read permission, which is read-only access to your ad account data. We do not modify, pause, create, or delete any ads or campaigns on your behalf. Your Meta credentials are stored securely and used solely to sync data to your local dashboard.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or Meta ad data with any third parties. Your ad account data is private to your account.

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may contact us to request deletion of your account and all associated data.

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use a single session cookie to maintain your login state. We do not use tracking cookies, behavioral advertising, or third-party analytics.

8. Security

Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. All connections are HTTPS. Meta credentials are stored in a secured database and never transmitted to the browser.

9. Children's Privacy

See My Ads is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
